Kena Yacht Club

Kena Yacht Club may sound like a group that is solely interested in boating, in actuality, only a few members have boats. It is the nautical spirit that attracts us. We embrace the lifestyle associated with boating and the sea. We have derived the social essence of generations of sailors and Shriners into a club devoted to fun. There is no need to own a boat just a desire to belong and socialize. Ladies regularly attend our meetings and actively participate at our functions.

The Kena Yacht Club (KYC) is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Shrine Yacht Clubs. (MAASYC) and supports Kena Shriners by participating in parades and other temple functions.

During the year we enjoy cruises, normally on the Potomac River or in the Chesapeake Bay, balls, and other fun events.

We meet at 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd Saturday of the month (dark in Dec.). All nobles and ladies are welcome to join us.
