KENA GREETERS UNIT

Continuously active in Kena since 1951.

MEETINGS: 8:00  PM, First Wednesday of the month. (except July, August, and December - no meetings).


PURPOSES:
1. To maintain a well functioning unit organization as authorized by Kena Temple, AAONMS.
2. To greet Kena Nobles and guests, visiting Nobles and Shrine dignitaries arriving at Kena social functions, ceremonials and other official functions.
3. To participate as a uniformed marching unit in all Temple parades of Kena and in Invitational parades when possible.
4. To provide support to the charitable missions of Kena.
5. To assist the Potentate as he may require in official activities of the Temple.
6. To coordinate and assist the other Units and Clubs in Kena with their fund raising and other activities.

OBJECTIVES:
1. New membership and to support the Potentate and Divan of Kena Temple in each of the Temple's undertakings and assisting to make them successful.
2. To assist in maintaining the tenets of Freemasonry and the principles of Shrinedom.
3. To raise funds and contribute to the Crippled Children's Hospitals operations.
