Shriners provide expert, no-cost medical care to children under the age of 18. As long as there are children, there will be a need for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Shrine Membership - 434,000 (Kena membership as of today is 1,407)

Number of Shrine Temples - 191

Number of Shriners Hospitals - 22; 18 orthopedic; 3 burns and one hospital that provides orthopedic, burns and spinal cord injury.

2005 Hospital Budget - $625 million: $580 operating; $28 research and $45 for capital expenditures.

Location of the Spinal Cord Injury Units - Philadelphia, Chicago, and Sacramento.

Money Spend by Shriners Hospitals to date - About $7 Billion on operating costs and $1.7 billion on capital expenditures.

Number of children helped to date - About 770,000.
